The bleeding is completely gone this morning. I didn't even see anything on my progesterone suppository applicator. Maybe my body is just telling me to slow down.  I have been putting in heavy hours at work.

hi i just wanted to say that i had bleeding around week 8 and it was bright red. only when i peed.
it turned out to be a hematoma which is when the placenta tears away and a blood pool forms.
the doctor told me to take it easy and it would hopefully go away- which it did.
it was 5 cm to start and by a few weeks later it was down to 2 cm.
yours sounds like something similar but please keep us posted!!!

My bleeding is still there but definitely not red anymore and very little. I think maybe my internal exam and sono on Monday just irritated me. Hopefully it completely stops soon

My dr mentioned this on the phone last night as the likely possibility. I am so glad you turned out to be ok!

I hope your bleeding stops soon!!! It sounds like it was due to the sono!

My Dr. told me if I was still bleeding today to come in. I have my NT scan next week, so I am thinking I might just hold off.
If the bleeding stopped, I am probably fine, right?

im 14 weeks and bleeding on and off since before I got my BFP.
I find that when i do too much, pick up DD who is 30lbs, or picked up a heavy 5gal poland spring bottle, or BD i spot. so i *Try* to take it easy.
Doc is saying there is no explanation for it but i am going every 2 weeks so they are checkign my cervix (but that is prob due to a LEEP I had)

since it stopped you prob are fine but i would go in for peace of mind. and im not the type that goes when its not necessary, but you seemed very freaked out so it cant hurt to see that little heartbeat to calm your nerves.

I had something very similar at 13 weeks and it was determined to be a subchorionic bleed..i bled for a day or two, quite a bit, and then it went away and did come back a week or so later. Went in again and it was the same thing.
