Bad Update - Bleeding at 5 weeks - TMI
I am around 5 weeks pregnant and started bleeding yesterday morning. I went in and had a sono yesterday afternoon and they could see the sac but nothing more because we're so early on. They also took blood, but I haven't received those results yet. I've been bleeding (maybe slightly lighter) as if I had my period since yesterday morning. Does this mean I am definitely having a MC? Is there anything else this could be?
I just spoke to my dr. I am having a MC. My levels dropped.

are you having any pain in addition to the blood?? i think you should call your dr.

I had bleeding at 5 weeks. We were able to see the heartbead but my DR told me if I had come in a day or two earlier that might not have been the case. There are women on this board that have had a similar situation to yours and everything worked out fine. Good Luck and lots of

I had bleeding on and off my whole first trimester. It is pretty common, as long as its not accompanied by painful cramping.

Thanks so much for your support. I am so nervous. The bleeding is similar to my period and it's red, not brown. I know these are generally the "bad" symptoms, so I'm wondering if anyone out there had bleeding like this where it turned out ok.
