OMG....I am so sorry! Will you be able to take legal action?
Let's just hope she does not come back with abnormal test results. If they are normal, the odds are you cannot take any legal action. I know this b/c I tried with a dr that misdiagnosed me and I was legally informed that unless you suffer a huge loss, consequence, legal action will not likely get you anywhere.
Let's just pray, the best outcome here is she has no abnormal results and she can put this behind her even if it has understandably diminished her trust (and the general public's trust) in some of the medical profession sad to say...
My old roommate went through this earlier this year with an anesthesiologist in the city after a procedure a few years back at NY Presbyterian - Cornell.
The waiting for the testing and waiting for the results was horrible. Luckily, they came back negative and I'm ing yours will come back negative as well.
think positive thoughts.... you went to him years ago, so the odds are high that you would already be experiencing symptoms if you contracted some disease back then...... Since you feel ok, odds are in your favor that you are healthy
