Tiffany I forgot to tell you....i dont know how true this is...but i know someone who lives in a house where someone died and they say every time they go in the basement weird things happen. They showed me a recording one day of whispering, it was really freaky if it is true. They supposedly called someone in to look.
I don't know if i really believe in that stuff, but I am so weird that i feel like if i say i dont something weird will happen to me. The day I 'see' a ghost I will probably have a heart attack.

I would not but I am SUPER superstitious. I would have a priest come with me to look at the house and whatnot but its one thing if someone passes in a home from an illness, but this is a violent death. I feel like things like that never really leave. You don't need an angry ghost- ESPECIALLY in a basement!!!

Why not You could buy any house and not know what has gone on in it. People die in there homes all the time - not sure why it would make a difference if they committed suicide.

Nope stuff like that scares the you know what outta me. I lived with my Aunt many years ago who bought a house where the husband died & it used to give me the creeps. Esp the basement we always felt someone was following us around.

I would. Not that I am cold and certainly not to someone taking their own life, believe me, but people die all the time in homes in all sorts of ways. There's no way to know if any of us are living in one right now. I know a house down the street from me, a teenager committed suicide. It was before we lived here but when the parents still lived here, they told us and I knew which room. The family that lives there now has a 1 1/2 yr old and it's his room. I doubt they know. I mean, maybe they do but I'm not asking - or telling. But knowing it wouldn't stop me from buying a house if that was the deciding factor.

After we bought our house our neighbor told us the old ladys son died on the flight 800 crash along with his gf
they both we flight attendants
I didnt believe our new neighbor and I looked up the manifest and sure enough he was. We found his BJs card in the garage so now I know what he looked like. It creeps me out on the flight 800 anniversary every year
That wouldnt of stopped me from getting my house though......
But the death in the house by suicide freaks me out
JMO
But some people it doesnt matter. So do what is comfortable for you

I know this is going to make me sound like a wacko - but I used to think my bedroom growing up was haunted. It was a friendly ghost (I'd wake up and think I saw a woman rocking in a chair, tv would randomly go on at night, etc), but scared me nevertheless. I didn't tell anyone for a long time because I knew they'd think I was doing drugs or something since I was a typical crazy teen. I finally said something to someone and they told me the previous owner's wife died in my bedroom (she was sick) many years ago.

It prob was! The medium told us animals and children can notice these messages from beyond / spirits because animals don't know judgement and kids aren't old enough to rationalize and say "oh that can't be possible" - they just believe and witness w/ open mind. The medium said "you know how we always wonder why the dog is going crazy like he/she sees something??" Yep!

No, probably not. But, I dated a guy who rented an apartment in which the tenet before him committed suicide in. It freaked me out a little bit but I never really sensed any presence or anything out of the ordinary.
