I'm sorry - but I just pictured in my head - Tim Allen and the Home Improvement episodes!!
My DH would totally understand - our basement in our old house was made for short people (like me) and he used to hit is head all the time

It's true tho. We don't always see each other when you get in. But I'm sure someone would ask me where you are if you weren't in by 2.

You got a cool head wound and the best story you could come up with was "I fell down the stairs".... you could have made up something a little better than that... especially with no witnesses to refute the story...

Kevin say it was a knife wound. Like 10 gang members attacked you and you beat the crap out of all of them. In the scuffle you got a switch blade cut.
