I am due in 6 weeks and this is how my nursery looks today.

 Look like you still have a little work to do. But you know what, the baby will bein your room for a while, so really you have plenty of time to get things in order. 
It is kind of funny though.

Oh dear, well it doesn't look finished 
Becareful not to put any stress on yourself, it will get done. I'm sure for the first couple of weeks the baby will be in your room. Good luck!

I just really wanted to have a room for her to come HOME to.
Sux because DH's Dad has been sick so the work is delayed. I just  that he gets better soon and this won't take long to complete!

Now I don't feel so bad that my DH hasn't finished the closet yet.
Don't stress about it though, I'm sure it'll get done. And if not, then baby will just have to sleep in your room for a little while.

i will try to make u feel better.
I am 4 months and we are having twins--we need to dormer the attic to give everyone a room. we have no contractor and my hubby needs his bid accepted on the side job hes trying to get to build it!

Good luck, I hope you get it done quickly!
Look at the bright side. At least you have something to keep you busy. I'm staring at a completed room with EVERYTHING in it and it's torture. If this baby doesn't come on time, I'm going to go broke. I keep buying things just to keep myself busy.

A nursery is so not necessary in teh beginning unless you are adimant about the baby being in it's own room. I honestly hardly used DD's nursery for the first 6 months. She slept with us. I changed her downstairs or in our room, etc.
I know it's nice for them to have a special room to come home too but honestly don't stress yourself about it.
I am thinking about being surprised for the next baby and doing the nursery after the baby is born.
