Need allergen (gluten, dairy & apple) free bday treat ideas
Please help me think of a treat to send in for dd's bday. It needs to be gluten, dairy and apple free!

Rice crispy treats! Easily made and bought, and yummy!
ETA: I use coconut oil in place of butter when needed to be dairy free. And sorry you probably can’t buy them, Annie’s is GF but not dairy free.

Regular rice crispys are not gluten free so that may not work unless you get special cereal.
Try whatthefork.com , she has gluten free desserts so I’m sure you can find something with no dairy or dairy that can be subbed out.
Might be a pain /need a freezer but maybe Italian ices?

Oreos have gluten they are made with wheat flour. Rice crispy treats are not labeled gluten free because they are made on shared equipment and there could be cross contamination.
These brands are free of major allergens but some products may contain apple:

I think cocoa krispies are labeled gf if you want to do homemade chocolate crispy treats. Regular rice krispies are no good as pp mentioned.
You could do fruit kabobs. Maybe add a marshmallow to make it extra treat like.
Maybe a s'mores chex mix with cereal, enjoy life chocolate chips, and mini marshmallows.
Otherwise, I'd just check the gf section of your regular supermarket or aldi's and see what dairy free options they have.

Most kids with allergies are not allowed to eat food that is homemade. It should be something store bought.
What about Italian ices?

What does she eat at home for a treat that is free of all those things? Whatever that may be, go with it! Ohh duh, SHE is probably not allergic to all those ...long day

Thankful that our school doesn’t let us send food in for birthdays.
I would do something with fruit - excluding apples.

The school DS goes to allows fruit salad as a treat. Strawberries, blueberries, raspberry, sliced grapes, watermelon, pears, Sliced banana on the side (cause banana gets brown quick. I've seen other parents add CocoWhip (dairy free whipped topping) and that makes it a little more special for the kids.

Popcorn! I get the skinny pop individual bags. Annie’s fruit snacks prob have apple concentrate in them.
