quick, portable dairy-free snack ideas?
My 16 mo old DD has a dairy allergy, so we send snacks to daycare for her. My DH has been INSISTENT that we send purees, but I'm getting real tired of making them. I also feel like the variety isn't there, we just make what's easy (bananas, apples, sweet potato).
I'd love some healthy dairy-free (and nut free, since the snacks are going to daycare) snack ideas if you've got 'em!

You can just google dairy free, portable snacks for toddler. There are tons of options.
Check out the organic and gluten free sections in your market. Amy's organic has a lot of options. Dr. Praegers.

I had the same issues (dd has since outgrown her milk allergy). Before that, go tos were:
Avocado and salsa Trader joes coconut yogurt Motts medlies (applesauce + veggies) Boars head all natural turkey breast (hard to find, we get in king kullen in manhasset) Canned mandarin oranges (rinsed, and I cut them a little smaller) or peaches Diy trail mix (Cheerios, non yogurt melts (happy baby makes them from coconut. I think they're called smoothies?), puffs) Freeze dried fruit bits Ditalini or elbows with frozen chopped spinach
Also, the dr. Praegers spinach or broccoli patties. Dd loves them!

What about some of those pouch fruits like go go apple sauces, there are organic pouches too. Easy bc they are portable and not in the sugary water.
Bananas, clementines like halos, apples (will they cut them up?). Most healthier options need some refrigeration. Can't you send in a lunch bag with ice to keep things like melon cold etc?
