Car seat experts please come in

I am looking for a new car seat for my almost 2 year old. Any recommendations?

I have the Chicco NextFit and the Britax Marathon Clicktight. I prefer the Britax. It's easy to install and tighten the straps. I find it VERY difficult to tighten the Chicco's straps, which is a HUGE negative!

We have the Britax Advocate and the Clek Fllo. The straps in the Britax are perpetually twisted. I don’t even touch them and they twist. I don’t have that problem with the Fllo.

I like the Fllo a lot but installation was a nightmare so for that alone I say the Britax wins. We’re getting a new car soon and I’m already dreading installing this beast. It took hours. And it’s not cause we’re stupid because my best friend bought the seat too and took it to the fire station to have installed and they said it was the hardest install they’d ever done and took them almost an hour.

We have the Graco 4Ever and the Graco Nautilus seats. I like both of them very much and you won't need another seat after those.

If you want to get really technical it depends on your car and what will fit properly in it. If there are other car seats in your car etc.

Also do you plan on rear facing still?

I personally like the britax brand best only because I find it easiest to install. If you don't plan on rear facing then I suggest one of their 5 point harness boosters. I have the Britax Frontier.

DD will be 2 in April and we have the Britax Marathon. I love it and DD is very comfortable. We have it rear facing in the back of my Subaru Forester and she has a lot of room but she is kind of petite for her age.
