Car seat experts..is this product safe?
i saw this in a catalog and thought it was neat...but wondering about safety. it says it was crash tested for safety, but doesnt give much detail into safety ratings, etc.

Re: Car seat experts..is this product safe?
I'm just a lay-person or lay-mom haha but if I had to guess I would say the tray looks safe since it is made of a soft material and fits externally onto the seat (not messing with how the seat works or belts fit). BUT what's ON the tray is unsafe b/c it is a lot of possible projectiles.
Very interested to see what the experts think. My hypothesis is based on other things I've read about why other products are good or bad.

How does it attach? Is it just resting on the kids lap? I can't see an issue with it if it just rests on the kids lap and the kid isn't using anything except some crayons and paper or soft toys................ stuff that probably won't hurt if it becomes a projectile............
I guess I'd need to see more info on it.
