Do you agree with the decriminalization of marijuana?

absolutely yes!!! the medical benefits are amazing. I think its horrible someone could rape an unconscious women and get three months, while someone else cant get three years for 1/4 ounce of pot. legalize it across the board, I'm all for it.

the amount of money wasted in weed charges is insane and the punishment is too harsh. Legalize the government can make some money off it!!

Re: Legalization of Marijuana
I am very much for legalizing it.
It worked for me during chemo (edibles in particular); I smoke here and there - always have, always will.

100% for legalizing it
It's so beneficial for everyday pain. From super serious to A headache.
I wish NY would just hurry the F up and get on board

Re: Legalization of Marijuana
The Federal Gov't should take it off the Schedule 1 Narcotics list. Marijuana should NOT be in the same category as Ecstasy, heroin, LSD, etc.
States should treat it the same as their state treats alcohol. 21 to buy, consume, posses, etc. Tax it like cigarettes. Similar DUI punishments.
All of the rules and regulations are already in place, just for cigarettes and alcohol, so it shouldn't be a big deal for each state to incorporate pot into their existing laws.

I agree.
I do wonder how they would be able to test for it while driving though.

Legalization of Marijuana
Yes!!! My DH got hooked on Oxy years ago because he has terrible back pain from a car accident years ago. I made him get off of them and stay off pain pills. He uses medical marijuana now (and also regular at times) and its the best thing for his pain!

Re: Legalization of Marijuana
My sister moved to a state where it is legal. She works in the industry and yes, partakes in it for recreational use. She is safe and responsible. You are not allowed to drive and there are a lot of other laws (can't do it publicly-only at home or places where it is allowed (certain bars, etc). If you buy it, it must remain sealed, etc.
This is a huge industry. Lots of money to be made for government and taxing. As a matter of fact, mom and pop banks can't keep up since large banks are not allowed to house the money specifically made from the industry (since it is not legal federally). So she has a lot of annoyance dealing with a tiny bank that doesn't do much online banking, etc. But she says it's a small price to pay. She feels very safe where she lives and very happy.
