What to do for neck rash
DD is 10 weeks old and her neck is really irritated like a diaper rash. At her 2 month appointment, it was a little red but has gotten significantly worse in the past week. I think it is a mixture of spit up, breastmilk drizzling down during feedings and heat.
What can we use on her neck? Butt paste ok?
I try my best to keep area clean and dry but DD has a lot of creases. It doesn't seem to bother her unless I am trying to clean the area. As of now, I am just using water and wash cloth and drying with towel.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

The water is most likely drying it out not helping with irritation. After it's dry I would keep applying Aquaphor lotion.

We used triple paste or desitin.
Usually cleared it up in a day or two.
If it sticks around...then see ped

We were told a hint of baby powder, it cleared right up. Tummy time also helps air out the neck rolls!

DD's neck was terrible for months when she was little! We tried everything but there just was not enough air getting in that little space...if it's really bad, may need to see dr. to get some nystatin.
