bad teething rash under chin/neck area. any tips?
my 6 month old has had a bad rash under his chin/neck area from all the drool from teething.
As much as we try, we can't get rid of it. It gets better over the weekend when we're home and are on top of the bibs, keeping that area dry, etc. But when he goes to the sitters house... it gets worse. I think because she has him in the bouncy seat a lot of the day and the drool just all filters into that area.
Any tips on how to get rid of it? specific creams?

aquaphor. But my ds had to finally go to a derm because it just wouldn't go away even when he was older. .

My son had it. During each change, I clean his face with a wipe and apply aquaphor to his cheeks and chin. Works wonders and no rash.

Aquaphor or Coconut Oil.
Look into an amber teething necklace. My kid pretty much never drools since she's been wearing one.

yeah but it's in his neck. Not on his face.

Ds had the same thing
It wound up being a fungal infection from drool/spit up
Dr prescribed Nystatin (sp)?
Worked like a charm

Desitin or triple paste under the chin.
I treat at night or during the day if it's really red.

yeah but it's in his neck. Not on his face.
Then put the Aquaphor on his neck.
