Birthday Gift Question
Both of my daughters are invited to a bday party. Keep in mind one DD is 2.5 and can partake and the other is 9 months who cant really do the activity. Either way they are both included.
Do I give 2 separate gifts? 1 from each child or just give a more expensive gift?
I just realized we have 3 parties coming up and I was just going to do $25.00 TRU gcs but now realize that a) 25.00 might not be enough for two kids and b) should I do the gifts from each child?

Re: Birthday Gift Question
$25 is fine from both of the kids. The parents aren't going look a the gifts and analyze the dollar value per child.

Re: Birthday Gift Question
I would do one gift and I would stick with $25 if that's what you want especially since your 9 month old isn't even participating.

Birthday Gift Question
$25 is very nice and fine for both kids. Once your kids have more classmates you'll probably want to reduce that gift $ amount even more - there can be one party a weekend and it adds up!

Re: Birthday Gift Question
When its two kids but only 1 is really active party participant around $20 if both kids really invited and active party participants ive done $30.
So you are totally good with a gc for $25

Re: Birthday Gift Question
Maybe I'm in the minority, but when both of my kids are invited, I give double the gifts. So if I'd normally spend $25, I spend $50 instead. Though not for a 9 month old. My youngest is 21 months old, so I give from both kids or the equivalent of it.
Whenever I invite siblings to my children's parties, I always get a larger gift (or 2 gifts) from them, too.

I agree with this, that is why I asked. Since my youngest isn't costing money for the time being I will do the $25.00 gc but in the future I think I will do two gifts.

I do the same. If it's for a family friend we do one more expensive gift. If it's for a school friend and all three of my kids are invited then I do 1 gift from each. With a 9 month old though that is not partaking in any activities then I'd just get 1 gift from the 2.5 year old.
