My post was a simple question so do not twist my words... you elected Trump. The KKK openly supported and elected your candidate. After his victory they posted his image on the front page of their site backed by the U.S. seal and tweeted that they had a HUGE hand in the outcome of the election and his victory. A Trump presidency is now synonymous with the KKK. So, what do you consider the KKK?
I consider the KKK horrible and I'm sure most people who voted for trump (or against Hillary in my case) feel the same. A very good question was posted earlier that no one responded to.... basically it asked iif we should assume Hillary supports are ok with the treatment of women in the places she accepted money from, countries that treat woman like property? How is that any different than saying people who support trump support the kkk and are racist?
Yes that was my question and no, nobody responded to it. But I am sure the response would be something like "that is TOTALLY different!"

Yes, there are several Saudi countries that donated money to the Clinton Foundation, and we can argue semantics about if she accepted donations, or the charity, but I'd rather not. She's connected to the Foundation, so she's associated in some degree.
I don't condone what those countries do, by any means.
For better or worse, those countries are allies with us, and we do a LOT of business with them on many fronts. My company does, Trumps companies do, Coca-Cola, Cigna, Citicorp, Exxon, Boing, etc. Doesn't make it right, but it's just a terrible fact of international affairs.
I would never try and condone everything that another person does, even a candidate that supposedly represents me. When given only two choices, we have to make a Pro and Con list for both, and we hope we pick the person with a longer Pro list for us than a Con list....
Your response is totally rational to me. You can't agree with everything a candidate says or does, so you weigh your options and make a choice.
I'm more interested to hear from the few who are so black and white on everything and see no gray. The ones that call ALL trump voters racists. What does it make them since they support a candidate that takes donations from these countries with zero respect for women, gays, etc.
His response is rational, but I cannot comment because of confidentiality reasons, sorry.
ETA: It's nothing shady, and I'm fairly anonymous here, but you never know who is reading.

Perhaps the Democratic party should look in the mirror and share the blame. They chose the most hated politician in the country as their candidate. I completely agree with this. I place a large part of the blame on Debbie Wasserman Schultz and her cronies over at the DNC. It's outrageous how they treated Bernie. I truly believe he would have won it all if not for them.
Oh yes. It was absolutely revolting how they treated Bernie and schemed against him. DWS is a disgrace.

It has to do with commenting on Saudi. Nothing to do with "outing" myself. You are more than welcome to FM for a brief description, but I'm not going to explain it on this message board.
ETA: and go off the deep end? What? I do not tolerate Trump's supporters. I've seen so many things and reports at his rallies of horrible things done there. I'm not going to sit back and let this happen to people.

You're right, Democrats failed too. We thought the Republicans were imploding but so were we. But I'm still not going to blindly accept his win as some punishment for what we did wrong or allow ourselves to become collateral damage for the next 4 years because that's not peidctuve and it's not cohesive and it's now what we should focus on. Telling us to suck it up and deal with it disregards the impact of his election on all of us.
Trumps ace was that he told white middle America that they were oppressed, silenced and disenfranchised. They ate it up and asked for more. The majority voted like a minority and that has nothing to do with Democrats.

The "I don't tolerate trump supporters" is what I can't understand. There are people on here that hate trump, but can see that not all anti Hillary trump voters are racist. Those are the people that are rational and worth taking to. But honestly it's a waste of my time to try to engage you in a discussion. You really have no willingness to see that not every person that votes for trump is t a racist. So you assume I'm a racist and I'll assume that you are all the things that I dislike about Hillary. Actually, I won't, because I have enough sense to realize that it's not that black and white.

I happen to agree with this as a Democratic leaning voter. Dems ate up all the anti-Bernie propaganda. I am not saying that everybody should have liked Bernie over Hilary but the most common reasons I heard for Hilary over him were not really valid IMO. It was always projected by most polls that Bernie could beat Trump and not Hilary but that information was buried and ignored. We were told to vote Hilary to defeat Trump but why didn't we vote for the candidate most likely to defeat Trump in the primaries?

That's right. Us Bernie people were screaming this back in the spring as it was unfolding. As poll after poll came out saying he would beat Trump and HRC would not. The DNC buried it, and I'm sorry to say, the masses went along like sheep. We all need to wake up to this corruption and manipulation from the elite and party leadership. We the people need to wake up and take our power back. Finally now, I'm hopeful the time is right.
