what's the best memory your kids have given you from the holiday season?




Halloween: i'll never forget the year we went ToT-ing with friends. they all had little girls and my one little boy... it was a small parade of PRINCESS, PRINCESS, PRINCESS, SPIDERMAN. the visual still makes me chuckle.

Thanksgiving: when he brought home a recipe for cranberry sauce. he was so eager to teach me. it's still the recipe we make every single year.

Christmas: he was almost 3 and came downstairs sleepy and saw all the gifts. he quietly started to open them until he got to the teletubies pajamas... that boy RIPPED OFF the pajamas he was wearing and couldn't get into these things fast enough. i thought he was going to hurt himself. he wouldn't take them off until he finally spilled something on them and needed a bath.

It was my son's 3rd Christmas. He was 2 years, 3 months and took his first steps. I have video from that morning of him walking like Frankenstein. LOL. Best gift ever.
