When do you get your children's holiday pics taken?
Early October? Late October? Early November? I just bought a Groupon for JC Penney and need to schedule. My friend just told me she is doing hers the first weekend in October and that seems really early to me for some reason......

When do you get your children's holiday pics taken?
Early October
This year will be later bc I'm due October 26, so the newborn pics with ds and Dd will be used as a combo announcement/Christmas card, which I'm still hoping to get mailed out the day after thanksgiving, which is when I send out my Christmas cards every year

I take my own and I usually do it towards the end of Oct before it starts getting too cold outside.

It depends - if I'm using a professional photographer, then mid-late October b/c they can take up to 2 weeks to get the photos back to you. Then, you still have to design the Xmas card and have them printed and sent to you. If I use penny's or target where I get the photo DVD the same day, I will push it to November. This year we are getting them professionally done but will do them late nov. b/c we are combining with dd2's first bday, which is 12/30. If I do October, she will be 9 mos. for her bday pictures!

After the baby years I started doing them really early. Like August or Sept early.
This year I have to wait until the first week of October and it's killing me!

I normally do it 1st week in November but this year I am doing it in the beginning of October

I usually do them early December, but we booked the Santa Experience pics for mid October.

I use Jcp and go the first week of December... They give email of pics right away so I can create cards immediately.
