Enhanced DL?
I know a few months back I read a story about possibly needing an Enhanced DL to fly domestically. Does anyone know if this is the case? I am flying domestically in June but wanted to know if I would be turned away with just a regular DL. I do have a passport so I can just bring that as additional ID just in case but was just curious because I haven't flown in almost 2 years. TIA.

Re: Enhanced DL?
You can fly using a regular driver's license through October 2016:
From the NYS DMV's website:
New York State has been granted an extension to the REAL ID Act through October 10, 2016. What does that mean? New Yorkers can continue to use their current state-issued driver license or ID card to board a domestic flight until DHS announces otherwise.

Re: Enhanced DL?
Actually this is a VERY helpful chart.... and it states NY is good until at least 2020 at which point we will either be compliant or non compliant (meaning you'd have to get an enhanced DL by then)
