Anyone have a baby that refuses solids?
DD is 9 months and it's a mission to get her to eat. She refused to even open her mouth until around 7 months. I've tried all the fruits and veggies and she'll take a little taste and that's it. Forget about oatmeal. Yogurt is the only thing she'll tolerate. I keep trying every day to give her some food and most times she'll keep her mouth shut and turn her head. She is perfectly content with milk all day long.
I just remember my son took to solids so easily and by 9 months he was eating 2-3 meals a day.
Any BTDT moms? Did your child grow out of it? Any tips??

Anyone have a baby that refuses solids?
Have you tried giving her something to hold instead of pureed food? Maybe it's a texture thing. Check out Baby Led Weaning

my dd is 9 months as well. we started solids at 6 months and she would eat little mouse bites. now , at 9 months she is very much interested in the food we eat.
I usually hold her and will offer a bite pf whatever I am eating... pizza, a teenie tiny morsel of pasta.
she really took to solids now. I would give her more time.
just keep offering. and offer more table food, not purees.

Are you offering her purées or solids? Dd rejected purées and we did baby led weaning with success.

I'm just offering purees. I've started giving her puffs and she doesn't quite understand that they are edible!
I read up on baby led weaning tonight, I'll start to give it a try. I just think getting her to eat anything will be a long process.

I'd just try table foods. By 9 months my DD was off purees and totally on table foods, even younger than that actually. She just prefers feeding herself.

My DD is having the same problem, only likes certain purees, will throw up others. She is 8 months.
For those that started table food did you give it to them even though your LO did not have any teeth yet? I am still waiting for DD to cut a tooth.
