spinoff to starting solids: baby led weaning
i have never heard of it until tonight, when julianne (sasha92) posted the link. i read a little bit about it and i am curious to see what BTDT moms have to say.
why did you make the decision to do BLW?
what foods have you given?
i don't even know what else to ask but any information you can offer would be appreciated!

I actually don't do this but it seems like a cool idea. However, I know that DD was ready for some solids a few weeks ago because she was drinking a ridiculous amount of formula and has gone back down to "normal" formula intake since starting purees (we skipped cereal, no reason to give it). She does not have the pincer grasp down and probably won't for another month or so but when she does she'll be getting table foods. I feel better giving her purees because then I know how much she's eating - and that most of it isn't ending up in her hair or on the floor
