Kalahari Life Jacket question
How strict are they about the kids under 48" having to have a life jacket on at all times? I know DD will not want to wear it in the little kid area--nor does she need to--and likes to practice swimming with me in the deeper pools. Should I just stick with Great Wolf?

Re: Kalahari Life Jacket question
My 6yo is def not 48in. I think he is 44 in and he did not wear a vest. He is a decent swimmer.
My 4yo wore his puddle jumper.
They definitely weren't strict in the toddler play area and the large kiddie structure with slides. That area isn't even a swim zone.
Can't speak for the large waterslides because we didn't ride those.

Ok, thanks. The lady said in all places with water in the water park, which i thought was a bit much--and I specifically asked about the kiddie area--guess we will give it a try.

The water depth in the toddler area is probably about 2 ft. It would be ridiculous to enforce an older child to wear a life vest in that area!

You can walk around without one, but if you want to do any of the slides or pools you must have one on.

That's what I was afraid of. Hopefully they don't walk around with a measuring stick!

They probably stop and measure kids that look like they are under the height. My sister went to Camelback and they also make them wear a life jacket.
