Swimming w/ a 2yo - Swimmies, Life jacket??
So my DD will be 2 in June and this summer I have no idea what I should be putting her in to go swimming in a pool. She cannot swim yet on her own. Last year we used one of those tubes they can sit and float around in - but I think she might be too big for that this year.
what do you use/plan on using??
I was thinking swimmies but I don't know if she will get the hang of those.
Any help is appreciated.

My kids have used swimmies, the suits with floatation built in, the learn to swim pads that you eventually take all the air out of. We start off with swimmies and move to the removable wearable trainers.
When I was younger I HATED swimming with life jackets cause they always rode up the neck into the head
I would stay with swimmies

Last year I got a swim suit for my daughter that had a matching life vest, it wasn't too bulk BUT it hooked to the bottoms of the bikini so it didn't ride up!!! I want to say that I got it at TRU

That's what my kids use. DD's has a bathing suit bottom, so it's like a bathing suit with the vest built in and DS's has the strap underneath. Both were recommended by their swim school. So that's what I went with.
