recommend getaway?
Can anyone recommend a fun family getaway for this summer?
Were looking for:
Family friendly (3 year old dc)
Would love an island rec?
Something besides florida or aruba (weve been 100 times)
For like 5 days maybe 7
has anyone been to turks and caicos? Is it fam friendly or more for just couples?
Also besides just recommending a place, can you give me hotels too?

recommend getaway?
We are going to T&C with our almost 10mo in a couple of days so I can let you know how family friendly it is when we get back if you want. I have heard nothing but great things so far!
Of the places we have already been in the Caribbean, I would recommend The Bahamas (Atlantis) the most for families.

I really liked Bermuda... but we went on a cruise last summer. Will cruise there again in the near future.
Love, love, love Mexico. Specifically, the most $$ Cancun resort you can afford.
Did not care for Atlantis at all for a 3 & 1.5 yr old. Maybe for older kids who could do the water rides. It was very $$$ for a beach vacation with a few pools. We won't go back til the kids are teenagers (and maybe not even then).
Stopped at T&C on a cruise & had a blast, also stopped at Grand Cayman. Will visit those 2 with kids.

I just came back from Riviera Maya, Mexico. Stayed at the Sandos Caracol 7 nights with my 2 year old. We had an amazing time .... Check it out :)

Puerto Rico is great because the kids dont need passports, theres a TON of chain restaurants, and its safe to walk around (in San Juan it was at least)
