would you be upset if...
Your dc has the flu and you have to go to work so your dh is home to take care of dc. You specifically leave instructions for meds, how to take her temp, and tell him do not take dc out. And you call and hes decided to take her out to 2 different stores... didnt give a dose of meds because o her temp was only 99 for a few hours, shes fine. Only to find out hes been taking the temp wrong all day.
now her fever is 101. Shes losing her voice. Shes so congested. And shes been up every night for at least an hour or 2 with her fever hitting 103.
And now im wrong cause im upset.
Or am i the one taking this too serious???

I'd be most upset about him taking her out while sick while she should be home resting and not infecting others. I'd be somewhat upset about not taking her temp correctly but mistakes happen. I wouldn't be too upset about the meds. He's her parent too and used his own judgement. I assume if she was miserable he would have given something. Not medicating for a fever isn't unhealthy or going to make her sicker.

Thank you all. Im so upset that he could potentially get another person sick. I would feel terrible. I called her school the moment we got out of the dr.
Fine your right we all make mistakes with the temp and thats a valid point he used his judgement on the meds so i will let that go as well.
I knew it yesterday and was exactly why i told him dont take her out.

My dd is 2 and we both just had the flu. We didn't leave the house except for doctor appts and even then I felt bad for the people in the office. I would be so pissed.
We did elderberry every few hours and the flu only lasted two days each with w third day of rest. Yet we stayed in the house for 5+ days just in case. My temp never even broke 100. I think the elderberry helped. Good luck! It sucks when they're sick.

I'd be upset that he took her out. Not only could she get other people sick, but she could pick up other germs on top of what she already has.
