newborn photo question
What is a good package? How many is enough edited pics? Do you think it is necessary for the rights of the photos?

Re: newborn photo question
When we did DD's newborn shoot 3 years ago I definitely wanted all the photos so we paid for a disc with all the jpgs. But I never really did anything with all the pics. Sure I made two coffee table books for the grandparents, but it was definitely a little repetitive. I used two shots for the birth announcement and printed maybe 5-10 to use in albums or for display.
This time around I'm debating whether to go with someone who offers all the jpgs vs. someone who has a package with my choice of 15 images.
I don't think I would be happy with only 5 images, which seems to be another common package.

newborn photo question
I wanted all the pictures. I printed all of them out - gave some away, framed some, and made a photo album of the rest. I needed to have all of them - I am very picky and indecisive when it comes to pictures.

I need to have the rights. Even if I printed them all, I'd want a digital copy as a backup.

I also def needed the rights to print, and used it for everything. Anywhere from 20+ pics is fine bc yes it does get repetitive
