Anyone ever have this? (choroid plexus cyst)

I went with my friend last night for her anatomy scan. While they were scanning, they found out that her son has choroid plexus cyst on the brain and a 2 vessel cord instead of 3. Has anyone ever had either? The said this can sometimes be fairly common, but she is beyond scared. She goes next week for another u/s to check on the cyst. Thanks for any input.

This pregnancy my 20w sono showed that CP cyst. I had a follow up sono at 28w and the cyst was gone.

my baby had CP cysts as well when i was scanned at 16w. they were gone by my 20w scan

I had both of those with my DD. I was referred to a high risk Dr at that point for a level 2. At the level 2, the CP cyst cleared up, but they confirmed the 2 vessel cord, so then I had to go back for a fetal echocardiogram. Everything was fine with the heart, so all that happened the rest of my pregnancy was I went back to my regular OB and had growth sonos every two weeks after 30 wks to make sure the baby was growing. She was born perfectly healthy at 39 wks and is still pretty perfect at 13mo. As hard as it is, tell your friend to try not to worry! I wish her the best!!

My dd had cp...I was a mess. However after talking to different doctors and asking my dr every visit they said they find them all the time and they disappear by 28 weeks or your third trimester.

With that said I am pregnant again and switch doctors and spoke to them about it and they said the same they find them all the time.

My dd is very healthy! I hope your friend is ok bc I remember how I was. I totally shut down and just cried did t talk to anyone...
