Choroid Plexus Cysts are GONE!
Hi everyone!
I don't get to post too much but a few months ago I posted that at our 20 week sono they saw two "Choroid Plexus Cysts" on our baby's brain.
There were no other markers for trisomy 18- and my blood work numbers (even with the cysts factored in) made the chances of Down's or Trisomy 18 still only 1/35,000.
We opted out of an amnio- which we felt was too risky. Many ladies had replied to my post saying their baby had it too and the cysts went away by the 28 weeks follow-up sono.
One mom had even said that her doctor said they were so common that they could be a normal part of fetal brain development (if no other "markers" are present).
So, I just want to report that the cysts are GONE- baby is looking completely healthy at our 28 week sono.
Thank you to all the moms who talked about their own experience with this- and I hope my post is reassuring for a mom in the future if she searches on this topic one day in the future.
ETA: the tech who did our sono yesterday said I wouldn't believe how common these cysts are and at every follow up she has done they have always gone away and were meaningless.

Yaaayyy!!! So glad to hear that!  It's such a relief, right?
Same thing happened to us. 2 cysts showed up the sono at 20w and were gone at our 28w sono!
