Christmas gifts wwyd
Yesterday we received gifts for dd from my husbands oos family (some of who I never met). It was extremely thoughtful and unexpected. Now 3 days before Christmas do we run out and send them gifts even though it will look like an after thought? Or do we thank them and learn for next year?
If you would send a gift - what do you get a 6yr old girl and 4 yr old boy?

I would probably send something. We've had this happen where we send someone a gift and get something back after the fact. No big deal to me but I think it's nice to do.

I say remember for next year and send a thank you card with a picture of your dd with the gift. I don't send a gift expecting one and if it's this close to Christmas they shouldn't either ya know.

This can go either way, but if you decide to get something for the kids... I just bought the girl I babysit this craft activity called "blingles". She will be 7 next month and she absolutely loved it!

Send a nice thank you card and call for an edible arrangement. That can get there tomorrow.

Re: Christmas gifts wwyd
send a thank you note for the generous and unexpected gift. Don't feel obligated to reciprocate. Christmas is not about matching gifts or keeping up with everyone else. It gets too stressful that way. Maybe you could send a cookie tray for them to share with a thank you note.

I would send something - I would feel bad not. I would just pick up a gift card to target and mail that.

I think I'd really try to send something. If you want it there before Christmas I like the Edible Arrangement idea.
