WWYD (christmas card poll)
This is the first year I managed to get cards out. I just got back a Christmas card I sent out (screwed up the address) Do I resend it?
It was hard enough for me to send in the first place and I kept thinking about it but I was glad I did but then it just came back.
It was to my friends parents (she died 4 years ago) with a little note on the back saying; thinking of you and remembering ... this Christmas and always.

I would send it back out. I'm sure they would appreciate that their daughter hasn't been forgotten.

In that specific situation, I would, and include a note that you're sorry it's late and the reason.

I would keep it in the original envelope and just put it in a bigger envelope with the correct address to show it came back.

In any situation, I'd send it back out. Especially this one.
Had it happen already and have another one on my desk that just came back. I take the card out of the returned envelope and put the card with the returned envelope folded in a new envelope. I'd never get it out if I had to search for a bigger envelope.
It happens and people will not mind. Wouldn't you be like, oh that's nice they thought of me and tried twice as hard to get me a card.
I think this particular one would be a nice gesture.
