I waited 6 weeks. My ob had me do this test: stomp your foot really hard. If you are afraid to or wince, you are not ready to drive. God forbid you have to slam on the brake, you cannot have any mental fear of physical pain that may interfere with you doing so.

At my 10 day appt. My dr told me I could drive.

10 days, just down the block to take older DD to preschool. It was my second csection though and I was only taking ibuprofen
