WWYD?
Poor DD is crying, grabbing at her ears and chewing everything in site. I spoke to the dr she said it sounds like teething. But then she said dont give her baby tylenol more than 3 times per week?! Its the only thing thats been helping her.
Ive already maxed out my 3 times. We give it to her at night to help her sleep better. But my husband just called and said shes really bothered by it today. what should we do?

My dr said it was ok to give her tylenol before bed for as long as she needs it. As long as I wasn't giving it around the clock. I would give it her.

Give her a frozen teething ring, some orajel. If that doesn't work- more tylenol. I've never heard of the 3x a week thing. Ever.

I have never heard of the 3x a week thing - I would give her some now since she's that miserable and get her ears checked as well.
If she's over 6 months, I would try Motrin instead - Tylenol doesn't do anything for my little guy when he's teething.

No runny nose, no fever, no other symptoms other than holding her ears.

Rub her gums with Whiskey 
J/K- kinda (I have a friend who swore by it!)
Try freezing a wet washcloth and let her chew on it OR freeze piece of a bagel.
I would also bring her in to rule out an ear infection.

First, def rule out an ear infection. Grabbing at her ears was the only symptom my DD had of her ear infections. Second, I've never heard of the 3 times a week rule for Tylenol. When my DD was teething badly and waking up at night, I'd give it to her to help her sleep. IMO, sleep for her (and for me!) was important. Aside from Tylenol, my DD also liked a frozen wet washcloth.

I agree with going to the doc. Rule out it isn't something else. I have never heard of the 3 time rule - i would give tylenol as needed. For DS i would put his binkie in the freezer, use a teething ring, or freeze a washcloth and that would help.

I am really curious as to why your dr doesn't want her to have tylenol more than 3 times a week. My DD is the same age, and my dr is fine with me giving her tylenol as often as she needs it. I try not to give it unless absolutely necessary, but I have pretty much given it to her at bedtime every night this week bc she is teething so badly!

Like the others, I'd bring her in to rule out the ear infection.
Assuming she doesn't have one, I'd start giving Motrin. I found that to be so much more effective than Tylenol. I also use Hylands teething tablets.

She really likes the teething rings that go in the freezer. So we'll use those during the day. Sometimes i give her oragel. I hear that the hylands tabs work great. I also give her tylenol at night if it's really bad.
