when did you get it? How did you know??? If it matters I am no longer breast feeding.
Was it super heavy? where you really uncomfortable?

14 months pp, still bfing, exactly 1 year from my due date. It was heavy, but not too bad. Not uncomfortable at all.

6 weeks exactly.
I had to reschedule my 6 week PP check up in fact- because they wont' do it when you have your period.
I started with some slight spotting for a day or 2- thought my PP bleeding was starting up again.
Then it came on FULL FORCE
Very very heavy. Like I have never had a period before.
I actually called the dr because I thought something was wrong
They said it was normal.
I thought I was bleeding to death.
No real cramps or discomfort though.
But I rarely ever get cramps.
ETA- I didn't BF at all so that is prob why I got it back so fast!

I never BF, and I got it about 8 weeks PP. It was heavier than usual, but not horribly so and I didn't have any discomfort.

Pretty much exactly this!! I got it right after my 6 week PP check up. I didn't have any spotting though. I was wearing a tampon and a pad or 2 pads at once. It was insane!! Never in my life has my period been that bad. I didn't have cramps or discomfort either.

I got mine a month PP and it was really bad. I had to wear depends because I was bleeding so much. I seriously thought there was something wrong with me but its normal. I was EBF. I now still have heavy periods but not as bad as my first one

Ok so then I'm going to stop panicking... I have it and its fullforce!
Feel like y'all that had it heavy! To make matters worse I'm getting my IUD today... Just shoot me - Oh and I go back to work Monday!

i FF and got mine 12 weeks pp... since then it has come back heavier and my cycles are shorter.

I BF for about 3 months and I got it about 3 weeks after I stopped BF. It was super heavy like the above poster said I thought I was going to bleed to death LOL
Since then its been very heavy but shorter cycle.

Got mine 7 weeks pp. crime scene is an understatement. Also every one I've had since has bee. Very heavy- never bled like this prior to dd

I EBF and got mine at 13 mo pp. It was lighter than usual and I had zero cramps (I usually get pretty bad cramps with AF). It was a really weird period but I was pleasantly surprised after hearing horror stories from many people. I got pg with #2 after that so I never had a second pp AF, although I wonder if it would have been the same or worse.

I got mine when DD was around 9 months. ( I BF). First one wasn't too bad... Just lasted longer; used to last for 3-4 days before DD & this time it was 6 days. Expecting my second period in a few days lol

super heavy, gross....but I also think that it had to do with me being used to "being on the pill periods" they were a breeze. now that I'm not on the pill anymore, my periods suck

4 1/2 months pp. Super duper heavy for 2 days then lightened up. It wasalso longer thanusual. The following month it was a bit better, shorter, adn only one day of heavy. They are slowly regulating themselves and getting back on schedule- ds was bf, and with pumping.
