Reality check for me today!
I had an appt this afternoon with my high risk dr. The sono tech was scanning me and then started asking me to move from one side to another and I noticed she was measuring something different than usual. She then asked me to go use the bathroom and take a walk. She said the baby's cord is wrapped around its knee and there was some cord compression. It didn't change and they sent me next door to my ob. They hooked me up to the nst monitor and the baby is fine. My high risk said this probably happens often and people don't even know it but the fact that I'm monitored closely the were able to see it. I go back on Thursday to see if he cord moves. Or even tomorrow if if i am nervous. There only concern is that is there may not be enough room for it to move since I'm 35 weeks. Worst case scenario is I have the baby earlier than expected...I better get my butt in gear!

I hope that baby cooperates and that the cord unwraps itself. You're so close!

Ahh!!! I can't imagine how stressful that must be!! At least you know you are in the very best of hands. I'd trust Dr.Kofinas on this one!

Re: Reality check for me today!
It's very common for the cord to be wrapped around some part of your baby, and I just wanted to say that our bodies somehow know how to protect our babies.
When I was pg, my son was breech. I was offered a version to turn him from the outside, but turned it down in favor of a planned c-section. In the meantime, I felt my baby trying to turn every night for about 5 or 6 nights, but he always came back to the head up position.
Anyway, at 38w4d, 4 days before my planned c-section, I went into labor. Turns out my baby boy had the cord wrapped around his neck 3 times, very tightly. That's why he couldn't turn on his own. And the version...well, let's just thank G-d I didn't opt for that. My body just knew how to protect my baby boy and went into labor early when it was no longer safe for him inside. I think your body will do the same.
