Re: VITAMIN B6
How short is your LP?
I asked my RE about it and they basically said that B6 won't really help. But there are other ways to easily extend your LP.

There's medication but your dr would have to prescribe it for you and monitor you. How are you tracking that you have confirmed an 8-day LP? And how long have you been TTC?

Re: VITAMIN B6
Yes I did, but from the research I found, it's better to take the B6 in a vitamin B-complex pill, which is easily found in any drug store.
I had an 8-10 day LP while I was TTC and this helped me get pregnant twice You can start it any time, but if you're already mid-cycle it may take a few weeks to work.
I took the recommended dose, that's all.

What was the dosage? I started 100mg of B6. I read about the B complex also but wasn't sure. How much did you take of the B complex?

We had a chemical in January. We stopped trying for a few months after that as we were closing on a house and recently started this month. I am aware of my LP because I've been tracking with OPK's for a few months I've also had blood work done at my doctors to check for ovulation I spoke to my doctor about B6 but she said that it doesn't do much, but I've read about it and it does appear to be successful for some. I have had a b12 deficiency in the past so I might try a complex. I'm 32 almost 33 and that clock is ticking! Is the medication your referring to clomid?

Re: VITAMIN B6
Yup, clomid is the most common medication to try to lengthen a LPD. Progesterone supplements are another option.

If you are just tracking with opk your lp may be within the normal limits
