Am I a bad mommy? Prenatal vitamin poll...
I just can't seem to remember to take the darn pills. How do you do?
I would feel bad except I didn't take them at all with DD until my 8th month [which is now I guess], but I've been trying to take them all along with this baby...lately I just don't remember at all to take them. I have post-its up everywhere...but they really just remind me that I didn't take one!

Most of the time I remember- but sometimes I do forget- but its never more than 1 day in a row.

I take mine in the morning...they are right next to our toothbrushes so I can't forget. Maybe place them next to something you use every day at the time you want to take them...for example if you take at night, put near your alarm clock???

I have not taken a prenatal vitamin pretty much this entire pregnancy. My dr. said its not a big deal - food is more important anyway....

Every morning I have the same routine, get out of the shower and get a glass of water...I just keep the pills in the kitchen near the fridge so I dont forget!

This last two months I have been bad, missing a few days and now down to nothing.
I took the PRIMACARE, two a day throughout the whole pregnancy so I was good with them and those are considered best on market.
My doc said it more important in the beginning and they also recommend taking them after birth for at least 6wks.

I put mine on my bedside table and take it right before bed so that I don't forget.
To me, it just pretty much substituted in for BCPs, that I used to take every night at the same time.

I usually remember - but if we don't eat dinner at home I forget. I take them at dinner time.

I haven't taken one in months. It disagrees with me and my doctor said it was more important to eat then to choke down a vitamin.

I couldn't take prenatal vitamins when I was preggo cause they made my M/S worse! So I just took the Woman's One a day vitamiins and my Doctor said that was fine, same thing.

I don't even take prenatals. They bother me wayy too much this pg.
I take my chewable flintstones for some extra vitamins. I try to get my vitamins from food

I have always taken vitamins, so adding the prenatal into the mix wasn't a big deal for me.

My M/S restrictrs how often I can take it since it makes me barf. I try and take it with a full meal (usually dinner. but I am not great at remembering.

Ditto - i take them in the morning with breakfast as if they were BCP! I was actually in FL and supposed to fly home a few weeks ago the day we had that bad ice storm - well i only had enough vitamins for the allot time i was going to be there but because flights were cancelled i didn't get home until the Sunday. I took it as soon as i got home but missed the Sat. Dr office said it was fine because it's really just a vitamin but to try to get back on schedule. I really just made it part of my morning.

I feel guilty everyday for not taking prenatals, they just make me too sick and wreak havoc on my digestive system. I take children's vitamins plus folic acid but I do feel like a bad Mommy.

I don't really feel bad, like I said, I didn't even start taking them [doctor's orders] until the 8th month last time. This is another reason I could never take the pill I suppose.
