Re: Payless shoes

My mom gets them there or at Martys because of the wide selection.

I dare people here to admit they shop at Payless!

ETA: payless isn't really 'cheap' - I find much better deals at Marshalls or Macys or GAP (for the kids) w/ a sale and coupon

I agree. I was really surprised at how much some of their kid shoes were. I almost bought my daughter a pair of black airwalk ugglike boots there for $30 bucks and then changed my mind. Ended up getting a pair that were cuter and were stuart weitzman from Marshalls for $24.99

I do -
I also shop at Marshalls, Macys, Bloomingdales. Manolo Blahnik, YSL, and Christian Louboutin - If I can find something cute at a steal, I'm ALL about it !!

SAME!

Plus I don't always want to wear my good shoes (bad weather, etc) - i have a few pairs of plain pumps from Payless that are totally fine, and comfortable too.

Re: Payless shoes

I shop there on occasion- because they carry wide widths.
I also buy a ton of clothes at Target.
And Body Central
I guess I am total trash.
But I dont' hear any complaints about how I look in my clothes or shoes... most guys I know would rather see a hot pair of pumps of payless then some fugly over priced tory burch flats...just sayin!

Well this just devolved into I don't even know what Chat Icon No one called anyone trash on here. It was a joke that didn't translate well and the OP's question isn't being answered.

To answer the question -- on the payless site, it doesn't say anything about bogo sales. I'd think that if bogo was happening in store, it would happen on the site at the same time, but I could be totally wrong.

I agree.

I was just in Payless Tuesday night and I don't recall seeing any big sales going on.

If the OP is looking for children's shoes, and the kids don't need wide widths, check out Carters and OshKosh online. They are running some good sales, and there is usually always an in-store coupon for 20% off a $40 purchase (easy to reach if you have to buy 4 pairs of shoes for your kids).

Re: Payless shoes

I bought my snow boots there because I wear them while shoveling snow. I refuse to pay Chat Icon for boots I will be wearing in slush and snow.

To answer the OP, the one in the mall in Massapequa is small. The one in West Babylon is average size/big.

A lady at my job always has cute shoes and when I ask where she gets them, she says Payless. But I feel like their prices aren't as good as they used to be. I did however just buy my DD her Christmas shoes there yesterday.

I always amazed at the LV purse/wallet, prada shoes, fine tailored outfit women shopping in target and more so handing coupons to get their bill down under $1. I guess I should be a coupon queen and I can buy a fancy handbag and shoes too! LoL

This is me. I only buy luxury brand handbags b/c I will have them forever. I will buy luxury shoes but for special occasions and do not wear them as often.

I will buy key pieces (classics) like a little black dress or formal wear from high end retailers b/c again, I'm not wearing them every day and will have them forever.

I shop for clothes and everyday shoes at target/old navy/payless b/c clothing and shoes are always changing and styles are coming in/out constantly. So, I'll buy basics at the cheapest price as possible b/c I know I'll eventually throw it out or give it up for charity.

Me too. I don't really find their shoes to be any less expensive than anywhere else.

Payless shoes

I don't find them so less anymore Chat Icon For DD I find better prices at the Stride rite outlet or at 6pm.com. The only thing I buy DD from there is the summer leather sandals because they are under $20. Other than that I find that I can get better shoes for less $$ on sale in the places mentioned above.

But to answer the original question try shopping online at Payless.com. Selection seems to be big online.

For kids shoes, yep! Chat Icon Chat Icon

But honestly, Payless isn't so "pay less" as they used to be. I usually can find better deals on kids shoes at Sears, Children's Place, Target etc.

ETA - Like everyone else, I refuse to pay a fortune for kids shoes........they barely last my DD a season. Not worth the $$$.

true. I would have no problem buying at payless if the shoes were cute but i went in there to find slippers for DS and happened to look at the women's shoes. I saw the prices and was like ummmm yeah not bad but...I can get something nicer for the same price or just a tiny bit more at TJ Maxx, 9 west outlet, or DSW...and for my sons sneakers...nike factory store had cheaper prices than payless and they were way more stylish.
