Re: leather or microfiber?
i have an ashely durablend couch in my living room. (not real leather but looks like it) it has really help up wonderfully. i HAD a microfiber couch in my den and i felt like it always smelt like dog. we got rid of it a replaced it with a faux leather as well (from bobs). i wipe both couches down with clorox wipes or pledge. im very happy with both.

Re: leather or microfiber?
we have both. Both are easy to clean. I think leather (as long as it is well made) is better. Hair and crumb brush right off whereas it is harder to clean microfiber in my experience.

Leather! I have both and the leather couch is much easier to keep clean. The hair does not stick to leather.

Re: leather or microfiber?
Without a doubt LEATHER FOR SURE! Microfiber + dogs = Awful!
When we switched from microfiber to leather the family room was a LOT cleaner :)

Re: leather or microfiber?
We just bought from Raymour and I decided on microfiber. So far, they're great. I can vacuum them or wipe with dry cloth to remove hair. I chose against leather because I'm pretty sure my darling Springer Spaniel would be scratching it everytime he jumped up or looked for his ball! So I think it depends

Re: leather or microfiber?
Leather can scratch from pet nails, keys, etc. We were talked out of it and went with microsuede wich is poly and very washable. so far there has been pen on my couch and it washed right out.

Leather from the owner of a 75lb dog and 2 kids! My microfiber lasted 4yrs and cleaned like crap. Replaced it with leather and would never go back!!0

I have microfiber and as soon as I have $$$ I am switchign to leather. The dog has ruined the couch and the baby just made it worse.

Re: leather or microfiber?
Leather - I can not WAIT to get new couches ANY type of material, even if it's easily wiped 'clean' will start to hold odor after awhile - I wash my slipcovers regularly and am constantly lysol-ing, febreezing .....etc. And I still feel like my couches are starting to just smell like .......I don't know. Like they have been used for 5 years - Lol.
This just doesn't happen with leather ......I'd prefer the scratches!!
