Anyone with friends NOT TTC?
Hey all~
Do any of you find that you have little to no one to talk to ab TTC? In my group of friends, so far the only one I was able to talk to ab being excited about getting pregnant was my guy friend and his wife just got pregnant!! Two of my best friends do not want kids at all and my others just have not gotten to that point in their lives that they are ready. I bring up wanting a baby sometimes and there is always that weird silence. They all love my DS but ob don't understand the whole kid thing. I just hate when there are get togethers and I feel like I can't express myself bc I don't want to make them uncomfortable.. and mind you- I am over 30!
Ugh just a vent ladies.. I always appreciate the ears when I have these little vents.

You can always talk to us obviously!!! I actually have a very good friend and my sister-in-law who are tcc. So it makes me feel better that I am not the only one.
I also think that when you already have a dc people do not understand the strong desire for another baby. It is funny, I almost desire the second one more than the first, probably because I know how awesome it is to be a mom and I want to give DD a sibling.

I totally agree with this. I am so grateful for DS but it only makes me want a 2nd one even more. DH and I thought we were One and Done for a while. We only changed our minds in April and I came off bcp in May. It is so hard to come to the realization that you do want another baby, after thinking for almost three years that you don't, only to have to wait to get pregnant. I pray it happens for us soon! Until then I have this board to talk to, as no one else I know is TTC right now.
