bbt question
What do you count as 1 DPO - is it the first high temp after the temp drop? This is only my 2nd cycle temping. Is there a website that I can enter my temps into and it will automatically tell me when I ovulated?
TIA

Re: bbt question
I'm not sure I understand your question. 1DPO would be after ovulation meaning your temp would have risen, not dropped. I think fertilityfriend is a popular website for entering your temps. I use the Taking Charge of Your Fertility software to track mine.

Re: bbt question
I think I understand your question...
This is my understanding: Right before you ovulate some people get an ovulation dip, meaning your temp drops. Then, your temp rises after ovulation. Some people do not see this dip. 1dpo would be the first day of higher temperatures, however 3 days at a higher temperature are needed to confirm ovulation. Because some people have variable temperatures, 1dpo may look similar to a pre-o temp, however by 3 DPO you should see it consistently going up or staying higher than pre-o temps. FertilityFriend will tell you when you O but it will also wait until 3 days of higher temperatures to confirm.

Yes, this is exactly what I was talking about. My chart looks like a check mark when I O, usually 2-3 days of decreasing temps followed by a jump in temp of .5 or more. I did just sign up for FF and it's so helpful! I was stressing over trying to figure out how many DPO I was and if we BD on the right days.
Thanks for the help!
