Re: BBT question
after ovulation your temp should stay up til around the day you get AF. so if your LP is generally 14 days, your temp would stay up for either 14 days or dip on the 14th day if thats the day you get AF.
to confirm ovulation, it would rise and stay high for a minimum of 3 days, but then continue to stay up until AF.
if around when AF is due, temp goes up again (called "triphasic") that is somewhat an indicator of pregnancy, although it is by no means foolproof. you can be pregnant without a triphasic rise, and you can have a triphasic rise and not be pregnant.

Re: BBT question
ITA, it will stay raised (though it may be rocky going up and down very slightly) throughout the LP portion of your cycle (from O day until AF arrives) ... the average is about 14 days. For me is 13 days, others have shorter LPs.
3 days of high temps should give you crosshairs on your chart though, confirming your O day.
