Furniture Dilemma - WWYD?

After looking for white furniture for a few months now I finally decided that the set I love is the Victoria by Lullabye set made only by Buy Buy baby.

I went to finally order yesterday and the sales guys told me that he would seriously try and steer me away from ordering that set because they've had several problems with them lately in getting the pieces delivered in an acceptable quality. He told me he would absolutely order it for me but really wanted to dissuade me.

I left the store with nothing.

I don't have any other sets that I like nearly as much as I did this one. Both my mom and husband want me to still order it. It can take up to 14 weeks to come in which brings me up to my due date. I'm just nervous that if I have to send pieces of it back I won't have enough time.

WWYD?

Is the baby going straight into the nursery? We used the rock n play in our room for months. So having the nursery all set up before the baby was born wasn't a necessity. So even if some pieces aren't perfect, you'll have time to get it all fixed.

If you love it, get it. They still sell it and have to guarantee it!

I haven't decided yet where she is going. My first son went right to his crib. My second son slept in my arms for 6 weeks. Maybe this one will be a hybrid?

The fact that they guarantee it is why my mom and DH are saying to just go for it. I'm more thinking of it being such a hassle that I won't need in 14 weeks. And then what if they do wind up discontinuing it?

Another factor is that they had the hutch in the store for $100 off on clearance so I can get that piece cheaper. That is also swaying me towards getting it despite the sales guy's bad review.
