discontinued furniture....WWYD?
DH ordered new bedroom furniture when he bought our condo...with ONE nightstand (we were only egaged then). Hence, I keep my eyeglasses and books on a snack table for now, which would be totally ghetto but at least the snack table is the same color as the furniture!! Poor DH gets a lot of grief from me for not thinking when he ordered it originally...I'm such a bully!
Anyway, the furniture is now discontinued and I've contacted several sales persons/stores etc and cannot find the nightstand anywhere.
Please take my poll! TIA

why not ditch the matching nightstand and get 2 new ones that match the bed as close as possible -- that way at least both nightstands match each other.

I would either get rid of the existing nightstand and find 2 that you like...or find another piece of furniture that matches in color, your existing piece.
I personally like the look of 2 different nightstands...

never say never. We had to get the matching armoir for my bedroom set (because I only had the dresser & 2 nightstands) and it was discountined. I checked craigslist, ebay, etc. Finally found it on sale at a furniture store on 110 (actually my mom found it).
You never know, keep seaching.

so how discontinued is it? is it recent, or almost a year ago?
It's worth searching high and low for one spare nighttable if many sets were sold, and it was only recently discontinued....
I wouldn't bother if it was close to a year ago, and it was not a very common set.
I'm not into matchy-matchy. Very little of our furnture matches perfectly, but they all blend well together.
If you can't fine one, just get a really feminine GORGEOUS table for your side of the bed.... something that goes with everything else, yet has a little bling.... Then it will look like an intentional his and hers, and it will be totally your style
