How quick does b6 work?
So my normal luteal phase is 11 days. I started taking b6 a few days ago and AF is now past due. BFN on several different tests. Could it have started working so fast to lengthen my luteal phase??? The chances of me being PG this cycle are very slim especially with the negative tests.

They say to take it starting CD1. I used it last month starting CD1 and missed a few days and it still lengthened it 2-3 days! Anything is possible though I think it takes more than a couple of days.
Do you know when you O'd for sure?

I've been temping the past few months. I had 2 separate temp drops before O this month though so FF said I O'd either CD 13 or CD 15. My temp dropped again then went up then dropped again this morning and I feel like AF is coming.

i am just curious why take b6 if your lp is 11 days?
i am no expert but i think i rememebr someone taking b6 and it affected ovulation for them,meaning they just ovulated later then normal so they kept thinking af was so late but it was only a coupe days

An 11 day LP is considered "borderline" and should ideally be 12-16 days. I've read lots of stories of women with 11 day LPs ending in miscarriage so I'm taking the b6 as a precaution. When I conceived DS my LP was naturally 14-15 days.

I have a short LP - 9 days at the shortest, 12 days at the longest. I think the longest was with b6 but I think it needs a couple of months to build up in your system. We've conceived twice witha less than ideal LP. Both times I knew I was pregnant before I even tested because I didn't have any spotting. Would take the b6 - I take 200mg a day in a b vitamin complex- but try not to stress over it. You can get pregnant even with a borderline LP

normal LP is 10+ days. 11 days is perfectly normal. if you started spotting say around day 8 and had an 11 day LP then maybe theres a progesterone issue but you would need progesterone supplementation to directly fix that issue. millions upon millions of people have successful pregnancies with 10 and 11 day LPs...

I do start spotting usually 2 or 3 days before AF. It seems like the b6 worked though and extended my LP by 3 days this month.

My LP was from 8-10 days and the B6 worked the first month I took it. Got pregnant both times!
