Kitchenaid Mixers - another question

So, I'm thinking I want a Kitchenaid Mixer for Christmas... but I can't decide what color...

Part of me wants a neutral silver so it matches with everything... but the other part of me wants a fun color like maybe red..... Chat Icon

Help me decide please! Chat Icon

Is it something that will be left out on your countertop? If so, then I would suggest something that matches your kitchen. If not, then go with something fun!

Re: Kitchenaid Mixers - another question

I have standard matte silver. My kitchen is pretty neutral, though I do have a little bit of a blue theme going, but I'm glad I went with this. Just throwing it out there, but I thought these were pretty cool! One of the baking blogs I follow was giving away a kitchenaid mixer and decals to decorate it with! I thought they were really pretty- white damask print. But I did a search and came up witha bunch of different designs on amazon.com.

Mine is red but PP is right, most people don't have them sitting out on their counter so it doesn't matter. It makes me happy that it's red!

Mine is red and it sits out on my kitchen counter looking super cute!!
I also have other punches of red in my kitchen so it 'goes'. LOVE the look of it and using it!!

OMG this is so cute! Thanks for posting it!!! Chat Icon

To answer a PP's question... Our kitchen right now is too small to keep it out, so it will be stored and only brought out when in use... but if we ever have a bigger kitchen when we move, I would consider keeping it out on the counter.

Re: Kitchenaid Mixers - another question

I knew I wanted a kitchenaid mixer before I even got engaged.

I wanted a purple one because it is my favorite color.

My mom got me the purple one for my bridal shower. I don't care that it doesn't match my kitchen and I always leave mine out on the counter. I absolutely love using my kitchenaid mixer and I always smile when I take it out because it makes me so happy when I use it!

Get whatever you want!!

I would get the color you want! You can always cover it if it doesn't match your kitchen...
