Has TTC taken over your life???
I dont know if its just me but all I can think about is TTC...we are early in the TTC stage but I feel consumed with OPK's, POAS and tracking everything...its consuming my thoughts...I thought the TTC would be fun but when it doesnt happen the fun is gone...
DH and I joke about the schedule for timing and he said that he had to do something that may conflict and I said with all seriousness that he had better get home cause I dont want to lose our window of opportunity. He jokingly said that I should wear something to bed that would allow him to easily "manage" if I were asleep, LOL!!!
Just wondering how everyone else handles it especially your DH?

Re: Has TTC taken over life???
After a 6 total IUIs, a 17wk loss, a chemical, a miscarriage of triplets, 2 fresh IVFs (one canceled) and a failed FET........
It's taken over my life completely I just wanna move on with some good (and lasting) news already.

Re: Has TTC taken over life???
I've read 3 pregnancy books since we started ttc, and it's only our first month trying! So I guess you could say I'm somewhat obsessed.

Re: Has TTC taken over life???
yes & no. I'm trying not to think about it & keep myself busy with my side business.
I've always been very very aware of my body & so i notice everything. That is what is consuming...i feel something, i google it & wonder if it means im preggo.
It does make 14 days go by soo slow!
ETA - oh yea, this is only our first month off BC and non actively trying TTC. I cant imagine doing this every month, its gotta be exhausting!

Re: Has TTC taken over life???
Yes, at times it does.. but I do find that it happens in cycles. I have to say that this month it has been the least consuming of all the months prior. But, Im also coming off a month where I was completely obsessed with everything about TTC and how it impacted my life. Maybe I needed to reach that point to get some perspective. Just try to stay focused on other things that are important. Its not easy but it does make it less stressful.

In some ways, yes. In some ways, no.
I get up early every morning to temp, chart, and I use the CBEFM. Lately I've been more focused on other things but I still continue to do the above.

Re: Has TTC taken over life???
absolutely! Between a lot of my friends trying and myself, it's the topic of conversation lately. However, I've been aware of how it's been affectiing me, so this month I have a different attitude and I'm going to not obsess over it. Hopefully that will reduce some of the stress!

Re: Has TTC taken over your life???
At least I am not alone
I havent told anyone that we are TTC so to not have anyone to talk to sometimes stresses me out but on the flip side if I told people and it didnt happen I would be stressed too

Re: Has TTC taken over your life???
It was consuming me until this month because I got a fertility monitor. Now, I just know when I need to BD and because of understanding my luteal phase length through fertility friend, I know when I should expect my period.
