How much to reline chimney

Before I start calling people for my grandparents does anyone know how it costs?

a chimnet for a fireplace or a chimney for a boiler?

The one for our boiler was about $1000

I had to get this done on my stepdads house before we sold it, we paid just under 1k for the relining and some mortar repair in April. We used Captain Soot I think.

Ours was about 1800, but it depends on the length. You also want to make sure it's a good safe product. Many guys will do a crappy job and use a crappy liner. You want steel that is smooth, not corrugated crappy tin foil type liner.
