WWYD - Go or not Go?
So I'm supposed to go to DH's cousin's wedding in Syosset on 9/30. We live in S. Setauket. My c-section is scheduled 10/4. Would you go?
Lately I've been having sciatica pain and hip pain so moving around gingerly has been difficult. I would like to go though but I don't want to over-do it either.

We had a similar situation with my second pregnancy and I had DH attend the wedding alone. It was an evening ceremony more than an hour from home and I couldn't see myself staying much past cocktail hour in heels and full make-up less than a week before my due date....thought it was better for everyone that I not attend.

tough call... you really have to listen to your own gut on this, i think.
i feel like crap lately but one thing that does make me feel good is getting dressed and looking my best. so for me, a wedding would be great. however, i can't say i'll feel the same way a few weeks from now.

if your DH and DS is not in the wedding party, then i would consider it if you are feeling upto it.. and if you think you would enjoy being there.

Thank you ladies!!
DH says he won't go without me, because he'll worry if something happens while he's not here...even though I'm scheduled for a c-section. I love going to weddings, believe it or not, and his cousin is just so nice and it's on LI so I don't see a problem really with me going...just lately all this pain I've been in has not been fun, which is making me question if I should go. I already have a dress though  and my parents are taking DS#1 for the night.
I'm thinking I'll play it by ear and see how I feel.

I would wait and see how you feel that day. You may be having a great day and feel wonderful and want to go. If you get tired or feel you dont want to stay, you can leave at any point.
