CBEFM Question
My friend gave me her moniter. She also gave me a box of unopened sticks..except that they are expired by three years! Do you think they really went bad? Should i just buy a new box?
And second part of question is if you do think i should buy new sticks, where can i buy a box of sticks that i can return if necessary. I would want to buy them ahead of time, but if by chance I end up getting pregnant this month (i should know in another week and a half), i would want to be able to return them and get my money back.

Get new sticks but you can use an old one to set the monitor.
I have gotten mine through Amazon and ordered them the day AF came and they came in time before I had to start using them. If you want to go to the store and spend more money CVS has them.

I thought you had to start using it the first day of AF?? I read this online so I could def be wrong but I want to know as I'm expecting AF any day now

You have up to CD5 to set it.

You have up to CD5 to program it so if AF shows, you still have time to buy them before you can't use it. I order mine through Amazon because they are cheaper. I pay $28 for a box of 30 sticks which if you have a regular cycle will likely last about 3 months. I use a box every 1-2 cycles so I'm on the Subscribe and Save plan.
