I could really physically hurt DH right now...vent
he has been nothing but horrible since he got home about not being at the sono, and my dad being there...
FINALLY after I had to ASK him two hours after he got home if he wanted to watch the video, we put it on, and he had a friggen meltdown, flipping out, criticizing my parents, said he didn't want to watch it and stormed out slammed the door...then comes in and asks me "why are we married? all I'm here for is to plant the seed and make sure it has a roof over it's head"
I don't know how I'm remaining so calm but I could hit him with a pot right over the head right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 I'm sorry he reacted that way. I totally understand that he was disappointed about not going to your appointment with you but he really overreacted. You would think HE was the one with the pregnancy hormones

so sorry your DH reacted that way. I don't think some DH's realize how much it means to the grandparents to get to see an ultrasound too, even if it is just one.

I definitely think he's overreacting. Did you ask him to go with you to the sono?

I say this all the time...I think I've mellowed out to be honest...I haven't really had any mood swings...
yet he has one every day for a new reason! it's really ridiculous...

he came to the first one, had to take off work because there were no late appt's...
then when we scheduled this one, he was with me, the latest they had was 3..., which means he'd have to leave at 12 (he works in southhampton)
we decided he couldnt because we just came back from vacation, he missed days before vacation, and we're really tight for money now cuz of it (he works construction, doesn't get paid vacation/sick/personal time)...so of course he COULD come, but we really couldn't afford him to...it's unreasonable to think he will take off work every time I have an early appt...
it's unfortunate, but he'd rather me go by myself than have my parents come.

I'm sorry he's acting this way. I can only imagine that he just really wanted to be there and is just displacing his anger onto you. How did the appt go????

It went well...did the NT test, and got to see cool video :) baby was moving alot, bouncin around, turning around, stretching, drinking amniotic fluid (which was weird) lol
just so weird to know this little person is in there doing all of that!

Great!!! So glad to hear everything is well with baby! Wow, I didn't realize you could actually see them drinking the amniotic fluid. That's crazy! It's truly an amazing miracle!
