Another CBEFM and CM question.

So its CD11 and Im still on low readings but I just went to the bathroom at 2:30PM and saw EWCM. So, I normally ovulate around CD13-15 so why wouldnt the monitor at least show me a high reading? Im assuming its because its my first month using it but still, shouldnt it have picked it up? Im using OPKs along with the monitor this month just in case the monitor is not 100% reliable yet since its only my first month using it but any imput on this would be helpful.

I am on month 3 using the CBEFM.
First month I had alot of highs, followed by 2 peaks and a high.
Second month- only 2 highs, 2 peaks and a high.
Now on month 3, no highs straight to 2 peaks and a high. When I read the book it said that if you go from low to peak, it could mean you are having a shorter cycle following a longer cycle and that your estrogen surge is happening at the same time as your LH surge.
I had EWCM 3 days before my first peak and was thinking the same thing, how come I am not getting a high reading. I listened to my body instead of waiting for the monitor to read high and BD anyway while I had EWCM and I am glad we did since I went right to peak.

It's very normal for you not to get any high readings before the peak reading during the first few months of using it.

this happened to me. I'm pretty sure it happened for the first 2 months. All of a sudden I just went to peak without any high readings prior.

On the 3rd cycle I had the high readings followed by peak; the way it should be.

I think in the beginning it's learning what your specific rises look like. Maybe that time frame before the peak reading is very small and so it's not picking it up this cycle. But it will figure it out.

The EWCM could indicate that O is coming....just keep using it. You will probably get your peak reading without the highs and within the next 2 months it will straighten out.
